This Caturra from the Perez family offers a juicy, sweet green-apple profile with a lingering cocoa finish. As an espresso, its texture and sweetness evoke Scottish caramel. As a filter coffee, it reveals a cup that is both delicious and vibrant, bringing us back to apple-season vibe, comforting, yet lifted by a touch of acidity that makes you want to take another sip.

Finca La Soledad is located in the heart of Acatenango, Guatemala, where a unique microclimate and volcanic soils of extraordinary richness create the ideal conditions for coffee cherries with distinct character. The farm covers 90 hectares, only half of which is dedicated to production; the rest is left as natural forest, a choice that preserves the ecosystem and enhances the quality of the terroir.

Raúl Pérez is a sixth-generation coffee producer. Together with his father Henio, his mother Mercedes, and his brother José, they constantly refine their processing methods to reveal the full potential of their coffees. Finca La Soledad is also renowned for its attention to detail and its washed coffees crafted with exceptional care.
